The story

We wrote estimates for a living. Then we built the tool we wished we had.

ScopeCheck is a family-owned company based in Southern California, built by a team with 55+ years of combined experience in insurance restoration. We know the work because we've done it — writing estimates, managing claims, and going line by line on scope with carriers. We built ScopeCheck to fix one of the most tedious and error-prone parts of that job.

That experience is the product. Every decision in ScopeCheck comes from people who've sat where our customers sit, so the tool works the way the job actually works.

We're independent and built to last. We answer to the people who use ScopeCheck, and we plan to be here for them for a long time.

And when you reach our team, you're talking to people who've written estimates and worked claims for a living.

Why we do it

Every settlement should be decided by the scope of the loss.

Not by who had more time to compare the paperwork. Checking two estimates line by line is careful, slow work, and most shops can't spare a person to do it on every claim. We think a two-truck shop should be able to work with the same rigor as a national. That's what we built.
